The distinctive steep roof line and strong architectural style of this post war house was respected as a new upper storey wing was added above the living rooms below. A new carport was added in the front while at the rear the expanded family room opens onto a raised wet edge pool. Constrained by a steeply sloping site that rises to the rear, the pool has been offset to the side to provide a level outdoor area directly accessible from inside. An updated floorplan, new joinery and new materials to the external facade have rejuvenated this home and enhanced its original features.
